The pre-hardened plastic mold steel is supplied in quenched and tempered state. The hardness is usually HB270~370. The mold does not require heat treatment before use. It is often used in complex and small deformation large molds, molds that require low wear resistance, and high-strength mold bases.

The general pre-hardened steel commonly used by the company is 718H, P20, NAK80, 2738, FDAC, PDS-5, etc.

NAK80 precipitation hardening pre-hardened steel factory hardness: HRC36~45 Application: high-performance high-precision plastic molds. High mirror surface requirements. Good surface discharge performance. Good etching processability. 718H (AISIP20 improved) Ni-Cr-Mo pre-hardened Steel, factory hardness HB290~330, suitable for most plastic blow molds, good polishing and biting properties. The wear resistance is not good and no heat treatment is required. In automation, it is generally used as a litter block for urgent items.

S136H (STAVAX) and HPM38 are high-grade mirror martensitic stainless steels with excellent mirror polishing and corrosion resistance. They are generally used to make optical lenses, transparent acrylic for discs, and PVC molds. Mass production and low maintenance. Delivery hardness is HRC30~35.

RAMAX belongs to AISI 420 modified martensitic stainless steel. Like FDAC, it is sulfur-containing free-cutting steel. It is often used to make plastic mold bases, PVC molds, etc. The cooling water channel does not rust and requires less maintenance. Delivery hardness is HRC34~38.
